BHS Aviation GmbH was founded in 2008 in Bamberg under the name BHS Helicopterservice, specializing in business helicopter flights. Over the past eleven years, we have exclusively operated factory shuttle services for approximately 14 German locations of the international automotive supplier Brose, using two helicopters: the Airbus Helicopters EC135P2+ and the Leonardo AW109SP.

BHS Aviation AG, based in Zurich, was originally established in 1991 under the name Heli-Link/Jet-Link AG. Following its acquisition by DC Aviation GmbH in 2013, the company was renamed DC Aviation Switzerland AG.

On May 2, 2019, BHS Helicopterservice GmbH in Bamberg initiated the acquisition of the helicopter business of its Stuttgart-based cooperation partner DC Aviation GmbH, thereby taking over DC Aviation Switzerland AG and rebranding it as BHS Aviation AG. By the end of 2019, both companies were merged under the new name BHS Aviation Group.

On October 21, 2020, BHS Aviation GmbH Bamberg received its operating license as an aviation company from the German Federal Aviation Office. The Air Operator Certificate (AOC) is a prerequisite for transporting passengers, mail, or cargo in commercial helicopter operations. Additionally, BHS Aviation was granted approval for Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) services for helicopters.

Since January 17, 2023, BHS Aviation AG Zurich has held an AOC for fixed-wing aircraft and operates a Citation Latitude. This expansion added Aircraft Management in the fixed-wing sector to the company’s service portfolio.

Currently, the BHS Aviation Group fleet consists of one helicopter and one jet.
