BHS Aviation GmbH was established in 2008 as BHS Helicopterservice with its headquarters in Bamberg as a company that specializes in business helicopter flights. Over the past eleven years, we have been responsible for flights between the roughly 14 German plants and locations of international automotive supplier Brose using our two helicopters, an Airbus EC135P2+ and a Leonardo AW109SP. 

BHS Aviation, headquartered in Zurich, was originally founded in 1991 under the name Heli-Link/Jet-Link AG. Following an acquisition by DC Aviation GmbH in 2013, the company changed its name to DC Aviation Switzerland AG. 

On May 2, 2019, the Bamberg-based BHS Helicopterservice GmbH signed the contracts to purchase the helicopter business of its Stuttgart cooperation partner DC Aviation GmbH. 

In the end of 2019, both companies were rebranded as the BHS Aviation Group. The joint fleet consists of 4 VIP helicopters, 3 of which are available for charter.

BHS Aviation GmbH Bamberg received the operating license as an aviation company from the German Federal Aviation Authority on October 21, 2020. The Air Operator Certificate (AOC) is the requirement to carry passengers, mail or cargo in commercial air traffic with helicopters. In addition, BHS Aviation has received the approval to manage the continuing airworthiness (CAMO) for helicopters.
